Two members of the Eldis team will travel to Nairobi to attend the 2007 World Social Forum. Liz Thassim, Eldis OnDisc Project Manager and Regional Editor, together with Alyson Brody, Eldis Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator, are keen to meet Eldis users and interview them about the role of Eldis in their work or studies, and to hear views on possible improvement to its services.
In particluar, Eldis is interested in collecting feedback from Eldis OnDisc users. This project has in fact completed its first edition, with the distribution of over 3000 CD-Roms, free of charge, to subscribers the world over. People already using the disc for their work have beginning to post their first positive comments, in addition to number of suggestions for future editions.
