The PPD Mid-Career Summer Programme, aiming to promote the advancement of public policy and development, is designed to bring together, for two weeks, a diverse and experienced group of 25 participants, who will have the opportunity to share the challenges confronting their Governments and International Organizations in the areas of development policy, development cooperation and public policy.
The combined focus on public policy and development is a distinctive feature of the Athens PPD Summer Programme. An emphasis on improving and enhancing the effectiveness of development cooperation policies in a globalizing environment offers mid-career professionals and diplomats the opportunity to examine and address the most serious emerging problems confronting public policy and sustainable development in today's world.
